Free Training – Raising the Issue of Childhood Obesity

 

The Northern Healthy Lifestyles Partnership (NHLP) are providing free training on “Raising the Issue of Childhood Obesity.” This training is available to anyone who has an interest in increasing their knowledge and impact of Childhood Obesity on a person’s health and wellbeing, and would like to obtain the skills and confidence to be able to sensitively discuss lifestyle choices relating to weight in a non-judgmental way.

 

This training is delivered by NHSCT Health Promoting Dietitians on behalf of the NHLP.

Holiday Grant Scheme – Children with a Disability

 

Supporting children with a disability need is one of the key actions of Bright Start – the Executive’s Programme for Affordable an Integrated Childcare.  The purpose of this Holiday Grant Scheme is to offer financial support to childcare providers to provide additional childcare (i.e. an extension to the normal service) to facilitate children with a disability accessing services during holiday periods such as Summer, Halloween, Half-term 2019. This funding is being provided on a non-recurrent basis.
